Our unique 3 phase training system has been designed to take everyone from a beginner to an experienced exerciser through a training journey that recognises your training history and previous injuries, acknowledges your aspirations and helps guide you through the journey to help you reach your goals.

The Northside Movement ethos is that you can achieve your health and fitness goals whilst still living a normal life and we offer a range of training packages so you can experience expertly led exercise on your terms.
Founded by Mike & Natalie; Northside Movement is a passionately-run, boutique gym that started in Clifton Hill with a vision of bringing a better quality of training to the inner north. Originally, we were a Women’s Only Training facility where we got to experience the inclusiveness and genuine support for everyone training inside our walls and the importance of a space where you were accepted for who you are and automatically became one of the tribe. Since then, we have diversified our Personal and Group training programs to offer experiences for both Women and Men, whilst still maintaining many Women’s Only Sessions where sweating, occasionally swearing and lifting weights is normal practice. Our private and welcoming gym has been meticulously designed to provide the highest quality of exercise equipment in a hygienic environment and plenty of space to spread out (and obviously enjoy a game of table tennis).
No longer do you need to be intimidated when you’re training at the gym or try to stay motivated without support. We pride ourselves in keeping people in the game and recognise the need for a training space that rewards effort, teamwork and uniqueness over appearance and ego. With PLENTY of Womens Only Classes, LOADS of social events and RECOGNITION of milestones.. We aim to make your time at the studio your best hour of the day.
